Thousands of people search “downgrade iOS” after a bad update or because an app no longer supports the newest version. The honest answer: you can only install iOS versions that Apple is currently signing, except for rare jailbreak-related exceptions on specific devices. i4Tools can flash IPSW files efficiently, but it cannot bypass Apple’s server signing for stock devices.
When you restore or flash, Apple’s servers must approve the IPSW for your device model. Apple stops signing older iOS builds usually within days or weeks of a new release. Once signing stops, iTunes and i4Tools cannot legally install that older version on a normal device.
