Forgot Screen Time Passcode

Screen Time passcode is separate from your lock passcode. Apple requires account proof to change it—there is no supported “trick” to bypass it on a stranger’s device.

If you are the owner

• Settings → Screen Time → Change Screen Time Passcode → Forgot Passcode? (follow Apple ID steps).
• For a child device, the family organizer may reset from their organizer device.

If you cannot reset

Apple Support may require proof of purchase for account-level recovery. Erasing the device removes the passcode but not Activation Lock. Back up first: before any erase.
