Personal Hotspot Grayed Out

Hotspot requires a carrier plan that allows tethering, correct APN/profile, and no MDM restrictions.

Checklist

• Confirm your plan includes mobile hotspot.
• Settings → Cellular → Cellular Data Options → ensure data is on.
• Update carrier settings; reboot; reseat SIM if applicable.
• Remove VPN or beta profiles that hijack routing.
