Microphone Not Working on iPhone

iPhones use multiple microphones. Voice Memos may work while speakerphone fails if one grill is blocked or a Bluetooth device stole audio.

Quick tests

• Record in Voice Memos on speaker and earpiece.
• Turn off Bluetooth; disconnect CarPlay.
• Remove case; gently clean bottom mic ports.
• Test after a restart; check for iOS update.

If hardware is suspected after software isolation, contact Apple or an authorized repairer. Keep backups before service.
