iPhone Charging Stuck at 80%

Since iOS 13, Optimized Battery Charging learns your routine and may hold the battery near 80% overnight to reduce aging. Heat can also pause charging above 80% until the phone cools.

Check these settings

• Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging → review Optimized Charging and “80% limit” if your model offers it.
• Remove thick cases while fast-charging on hot days.
• Try another cable and brick to rule out under-powering.
