Face ID Not Available

Software updates rarely brick Face ID—when they do, a second restart or re-enrollment usually fixes it. Persistent “move iPhone lower/higher” loops after drops often indicate hardware.

Try

• Settings → Face ID & Passcode → Reset Face ID; set up again in good light.
• Remove thick screen protectors covering the notch array.
• General → Software Update; install point release if available.
